Prof. Linos, as a chairman and a main speaker, at the Conference of the Surgical Clinic of the University of Thessaly and the Greek Chapter of the American College of Surgeons in Larissa

Prof. Linos attended the one-day Conference on "Endocrine Tumors", organized by the Surgical Clinic of the University of Thessaly and the Greek Chapter of the American College of Surgeons.

The event, which was part of the postgraduate activities of the University Surgical Clinic, was under the auspices of the Faculty of Medicine of the University of Thessaly, and took place on February 2, in Larissa.

The aim of the event was to present the current views and guidelines on endocrine tumors and neuroendocrine structures. As these diseases are rather rare and present diverse clinical features, physicians often face difficulties in their diagnosis, documentation and final treatment. The event, addressing physicians of all specialties, aimed to provide information, based on contemporary and documented data.

Prof. Linos participated at the Conference, as a chairman and a keynote speaker. Specifically, Prof. Linos was the chairman and the moderator at the round table on “Tumors of the adrenal glands”. Moreover, as the President of the Greek Chapter of the American College of Surgeons, he made the closing speech on "Minimally invasive surgery of endocrine glands. Truths, exaggerations and lies". During his speech, he presented the minimally invasive surgery of endocrine glands and referred to the myths regarding this innovative method of endocrine surgery.
