Professor Linos participated as an honorary guest at the RACS 87th Annual Scientific Congress with the American College of Surgeons and ANZCA Annual Scientific Meeting

Professor Linos participated as an honorary guest at the 87th Royal Australasian College of Surgeons’ Annual Scientific Congress with the American College of Surgeons and ANZ College of Anaesthetists Annual Scientific Meeting. The Congress, entitled “Reflecting on What Really Matters”, took place in Sydney, Australia from May 7th through the 11th of 2018.

The uniqueness of this Congress rests with the collaboration of the American College of Surgeons for the first time, as well as the Anaesthetists, who were last together in 2014. This has enabled the Congress to combine plenaries on critically important issues that the medical profession faces. The Organizing Committee has assembled a diverse array of leading international and national visitors in their particular fields.

Professor Linos as Keynote speaker presented his main speech with the title «MINET: The End of Kocher». Meanwhile, he actively participated with four speeches: «The "difficult" primary hyperparathyroidism», «Work up for adrenal Incidentaloma», «Should subcetimeter thyroid cancers be observed?» and «Quality of life after thyroidectomy».
